Dear Friends of Cathedral Catholic:
Join us for the 34th Annual Wine & Microbrew Tasting and Auction!
Our highly anticipated event will be on March 22, 2025 on our beautiful campus. As San Diego’s largest private high school and a leader in Catholic education, Cathedral Catholic is proud to host this special evening that fosters community and promises a good time for all. This year, the Wine & Microbrew’s theme will be a lūʻau, a traditional Hawaiian party that is accompanied by entertainment.
This year, all proceeds will support the enhancement of the lower field athletic area, including replacing the lower field turf and adding a building which will include vital amenities like bathrooms, locker rooms, a concession stand, and a large workout room for the dance team and cheer program.
Our goal is to raise $500,000 toward the overall $2 million needed for this exciting project. We invite you to join us in making a significant impact on our athletic facilities.

Your reservation includes admission to the Wine & Microbrew Lū‘au, access to delicious food and drinks, and, an authentic and lively Dons Lū‘au program.
Please note that the Wine & Microbrew is a casual reception-style event, not a formal gala, and therefore seating is limited and not guaranteed for every individual.

Belly Bar - $250.00
A belly bar will be reserved with your name on the table placard. Belly bars fit 4-6 people comfortably standing around the table.
Please Note: Tickets to the Wine & Microbrew are not included in the reservation of the belly bar.
Picnic Table - $500.00
A picnic table will be reserved with your name on the table placard. Picnic tables fit 8 adults comfortably sitting at the benches. Please Note: Tickets to the Wine & Microbrew are not included in the reservation of the picnic table.

Cathedral Catholic is San Diego’s largest private high school and the premier Catholic high school. The Wine & Microbrew Tasting and Auction began over 30 years ago, with parents meeting in a backyard to share their favorite beer and wine with fellow parents. It was an opportunity to bring the Dons community together. Through the years this event has grown, but the purpose has remained the same. Dons teams eventually got involved by coordinating the donations of raffle baskets for an auction. Thus, the Annual Wine & Microbrew Tasting and Auction came to be.
This annual event is a community favorite and the most successful fundraiser for Cathedral Catholic's athletic program. It’s an evening for the Dons community and friends to sample microbrews and award-winning wines while enjoying gourmet food options. We expect that this year’s Wine & Microbrew will sell out just as it did last year. Be sure to secure your tickets beginning January 29, 2025!
