• Transfer applicants must have a minimum 2.0 GPA with no “F” grades on their transcript.
• Students must be currently enrolled in an accredited school.
• Transfer students are accepted based on space availability. Cathedral Catholic High School cannot guarantee acceptance.

Cathedral Catholic High School adheres to CIF guidelines and regulations. Please refer to the CIF transfer eligibility rules for athletes.

Students entering the 12th grade are typically not considered for transfer to Cathedral Catholic. Please contact the Office of Enrollment at (858) 523-4000 with questions about senior year transfers.

• Spring semester transfer applications are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please call the Office of Enrollment for more mid-year transfer information.
• Fall semester transfers may apply at any time for enrollment until the end of May 2025. However, it should be noted that new students are enrolled on a space-available basis. Interested transfer applicants are encouraged to complete their enrollment paperwork according to the suggested deadlines or as soon as possible.

• Create an account in the Ravenna hub – created by parent/guardian
• Preliminary application form in the Ravenna hub – completed and submitted online by parent/guardian
• Student questionnaire – completed by the student in his/her own words
• Official transcript request/release of information form on Ravenna for the previous two years of student grades - to be sent to the child’s school. Course descriptions must accompany transcripts, as well as a description of the school’s grading/evaluation system. Please send forms early to the school in order to assure they meet the application deadline.
• Student recommendation forms – delegated to the student’s English teacher, math teacher and principal through the Ravenna hub
• Copy of birth certificate or passport – to verify child’s date of birth and legal name
• Immunization records – provided by the child's school or parent/guardian
  • Tuberculosis (TB) and pertussis (Tdap) booster – proof of tuberculosis (TB) testing after September 1, 2012 and pertussis (Tdap) booster given within the past seven years
• Application/processing fee of $75 is due upon completion of the online application.

Families are encouraged to continue working on the remainder of the application through the application steps listed below.

Upon receipt of the complete application packet listed above, the Office of Enrollment will contact the transfer student for an interview. Student interviews for fall 2025 enrollments take place in March, April and May 2025.

From March through May, the Enrollment Committee will make and announce final acceptance decisions for fall 2025 applicants.

Upon acceptance, Cathedral Catholic High School will send information on how to set up a tuition and fee agreement for the 2025-2026 school year. Accepted students will also receive additional information to facilitate their enrollment in the school.

• Completing the online tuition and fee agreement is imperative to confirm that the child will be attending Cathedral Catholic High School in the fall.
• Families that choose not to enroll their child in the fall must email the Office of Enrollment during the final registration process.
• Upon receiving a child’s acceptance, the family should submit a request to the student’s current school for official final transcripts to be sent to Cathedral Catholic no later than June 27, 2025.
