Cathedral Catholic High School is a college preparatory school accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). 

Academics

• Cathedral Catholic offers a wide variety of electives for students to explore as well as choices in core curriculum in every department to fit student needs and interests.
• The academic program offers over 60 honors-level courses including 12 semesters of college dual enrollment classes and 26 Advanced Placement courses.
• A typical student schedule consists of 7 classes (35 units) per semester in a rotating block schedule.

Challenge Success

Cathedral Catholic High School partners with Challenge Success, a non-profit school reform organization affiliated with Stanford University Graduate School of Education. This partnership helps Cathedral Catholic implement research-based tools and strategies to create a more balanced and academically fulfilling life for all students.

Over the past few years, students’ spiritual and emotional health, well-being and academic engagement have been a growing concern. In addition, school administrators seek to commit to and sustain a culture of balance and well-being for adults in the school community. Cathedral Catholic wants all constituents to be explicitly taught strategies to promote emotional and physical well-being, as well as skills to cope with stress and worry.
